SURVIVAL IN THE WOODS , FOREST , MOUNTAIN

Here are some basic tips for the things to do to survive in the wild !!!
If you are in the wild in a forest or a mountain and you need to make it through the night there are some basic things to keep you alive and going . Supposingly you have just a knive and a basic kit box (small box with a lighter , fire stone , some hooks and fishing line .) The first thing you need to take care is the place youre going to spend the night . Especialy in the winter time the weather maybe freezing and the night starts very early at about 17.00-17.30 .So Gather some long branches or pieces of wood to make something like a small cabin or kind of a roof above your head . Between the brunches add some foliage and smaller brunches to insulate . The second thing to do as its still day or there is some last light - gather as many pieces of wood and brunches as you can because you will need a long lasting fire to keep you warm and keep animals far from you . If there is a lake or river near by its a good thougt to try and catch some fish , otherwise gather eatable roots and plants . Start your fire near the entrance of your sleeping place , and if youve have some water from a fountain or river near by boil it for at least 35 minutes to kill any possible malaria infection . Always try to have a sleeping bag in your car or with you whene you go to a forest . If you dont have one try to cover up with leaves or try to insulate your cabin as good as you can !!!

Global Energy Problem !!!

Sooner or later the world will run out of fossil fuels . Its our responsibility to maintain our familys and our selves to a state of less energy consumption in our homes and in our every day lives .
Here are some ways - informations and ideas for a better life using less energy !!!

1)  Unplug appliances that are not being used. Most idle appliances  TVs, VCRs, CD players, microwaves  continue to consume energy when switched off and account for 5 percent of total domestic energy consumption. Ok this one is a classic . I bet you ve read about it a thousant times . The best way to do this is to use smart - shock safe multi power outlets , which you can switch off . So with a push of a button you will de-activate all the devices that are plugged to it !!

2) Insulate the external walls of your home using matterials such as - cellulose, glass wool, rock wool, polystyrene, urethane foam, vermiculite, perlite, wood fibre, plant fibre (cannabis, flax, cotton, cork, etc.), plant straw, animal fibre (sheep's wool). Also you can apply a special isulation paint to controll the sun consumption better .

3) Watter Filtration . Its not quite an energy save but its the next best thing !! One of the best moves ive made is buying a good water filter . I saved huge amount in bottled water (i ve been drinking water that way since 1998 !!) and also stop polluting with empty bottles .

4) Stop using your car for near distances . Its easier to use public transportation . Its better to use a small cc bike and even better to use a bicycle.

Solutions need to enable and celebrate new experiences that overcome any negative perceptions that come with adopting new behaviors. Intelligently connected products and services can make behavior change more tangible and leave consumers feeling good about their actions. In essence, the substantial benefits gained from using less energy need to outweigh using more.

Natural resources and energy consumption can be a sensitive personal and political issue that is intertwined with the current economic conditions. Most people care about their environment but everyone defines their environment in a different way. My environment could include the polar ice caps, the quality of the air I breathe every day, or the power substation plant near my kid’s school.
The best motivators for change and the adoption of new behaviors derive from personal relevance, which is discovered not dictated. Using less energy is just good: good for your wallet, good for your environment, and in most people’s minds it is good to not be wasteful. Empathy and positive messaging will connect with a wide range of people and create the biggest impact. Make it personal--in a good way.

always be grateful for this earth and stop destroying it !!! respect it and you will gain energy and well being in
return !!
